The Real Cost of a Missed Follow-Up

A single missed follow-up feels harmless. The client probably wasn't serious anyway, you tell yourself, and move on to the next message. The trouble is that this happens quietly, again and again, and nobody ever adds it up.

Doing the math

If a studio loses even two bookings a month to silence rather than genuine rejection, and an average booking is worth a meaningful package fee, that's a significant chunk of annual revenue disappearing without ever showing up as a 'loss' anywhere in the books.

Why it stays invisible

Missed follow-ups don't generate a rejection message — they generate silence, which is easy to mistake for disinterest. Without a system flagging which leads have gone quiet, there's no way to even notice the pattern, let alone fix it.

A lost lead usually doesn't say goodbye. It just stops replying.
